Dr. Kenneth Friedman Special Guest Speaker at the May 12, 2009 International Awareness Day Event hosted by the Vermont CFIDS Organization
The Vermont CFIDS Organization May 12, 2009 events was a huge success!
The highlight of their event was the grant that P.A.N.D.O.R.A. provided them for their medical school student scholarship named after Dr. Kenneth Friedman. The Vermont Assistant Secretary of Health attended the event and congratulated the organization for their efforts in establishing this much needed patient provider medical student education & incentive program. It gives meaning to the words Pay Forward in a most profound way.
Click here for the video information and for the guest speakers attending this event. Dr. Kenneth Friedman, the force behind this effort was there sharing the programs that are being established nationwide and one in which P.A.N.D.O.R.A. is thrilled to participate.
Golden Apple Award Nomination
April 4, 2009
1st Year Medical Students have nominated Dr. Friedman for the 2009 Golden Apple Award. This is his 9th nomination. He's been the recipient of the award on two other previous occasions.
The Golden Apple Award is given to the very few faculty who students feel have taught them in an outstanding manner. Usually only three faculty members are given the award by each of the four classes of the medical school.
The award winners are announced at the Annual Alumni Reunion and Golden Apple Awards Dinner which will be held April 4, 2009 at the Sheraton Parsippany Hotel.
Congratulations to Dr. Friedman for his outstanding teaching abilities!
